Seeds {Icad 2017 #7 & OMMM}

Hellooooo :)

Today's ICAD is probably my favorite so far. it makes me so happy! it's ICAD #7 -- titled SEEDS. It's a collaboration between ICAD & Our Mixed Media Moods, inspired by the top middle photograph in the mood board.

It's so pretty and serene.. I knew exactly what I wanted to do based on that single image! a grungy recycled background, a bit of painting and tons of hand stitching!

Here is the video followed by closeup shots & the supply list -- thanks for joining me today!

So here is my first ICAD :) PLUS it's been inspired by Our Mixed Media Moods's May board -- the beautiful little typewriter image in the top right. I♥OMMM

The May Arts Ribbonistas lineup has been as so this week :

Charlene Driggs

Today I get to share! and I'm bring you a SUMMERY Mini Album!

It started with a set of kraft DIY pockets from Simple Stories. I arranged them and bound them to create a little mini album with pockets. The front of the album has been adorned with Simple Stories Good Day Sunshin and May Arts Burlap twine. There's also a little UmWowStudio chipboard that has been adhered with Xyron Adhesives, and a Viva Las VegaStamps! stamp. The white paint on the cover is Gesso by BLICK.

Inside I've continued to use the Good Day Sunshine stickers from SS, but also used some cards cut from the 12x12 sheets, and Insta-squares to mount my photos to. The photos have been adhered with Xyron adhesive, and the pulls to get them out of the tags are May Arts Stitched Sheer, and Twill Chevron.

And because the summer isn't over yet, I've prepped the back couple of pockets, ready to receive more fun family photos! Be sure to visit the other girls participating today.. visit May Arts, Xyron, and Simple Stories, too!

Leave all the comments you can because there are PRIZES to be won!!!

Jingle Hells - May Arts & Scrapbook Adhesives

Welcome to Thursday's day on the May Arts and Scrapbook Adhesives blog hop!

We've been hopping all week so be sure to see all my fellow Ribbonistas! Today it's me and Ribbonista Emily Lanham! Stop by May Arts to see all who have had days and stay tuned for tomorrow's posts.

Today I'm sharing my December Daily album (Cover and a few pages inside) or my "Jingle Hells" album! A few friends and me are showing what December is REALLY like in all the hub bub of the seasonal planning. We don't have a ton of cooked dinners and staged photographs during such hectic times; in our family lives, businesses and or work lives. And we're OK with that! ♥

I'm altering an old distressed book that had a beautiful red fabric cover on it.

On the cover you can see four ribbons by May Arts; Red Burlap Twine, Black and White Mini Chevron, White Silk and Red and White Stripes. I used double sided tape by Scrapbook Adhesives to adhered anything that wasn't sticky on its own. The Chipboard Tree is from  UmWowStudio, Alphas from Pink Paislee, Tag from Fancy Pants, Charcoal glimmer mist from TA, and from my stash is gesso, red thread, mini jingle bells and a dymo label maker.

Pages 4 and 5 from inside. You can see more of the Chevron Ribbon from May Arts, and the top layer photo is popped up using black foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives. Other supplies: Snowflake Confetti Chipboard and December Daily Date Kit from UmWowStudio, Washi Tape from Gauche Alchemy, Charcoal Glimmer mist from Tattered Angels, Distress Marker and Archival Ink from Ranger, Sakura of America Micron Pen, Snowflake Stamp from Viva Las VegaStamps!, Radiant Rain from Splash of Color, Cardstock and button from Fancy Pants, Flower from Prima, and from my stash: cheesecloth, black thread, alphas and a dymo label maker.

I'm totally adoring my album and just can't wait to finish more pages!!

Don't forget to leave comments on all the posts this week for a chance to win some yummy ribbon and adhesive.
