ASD Hop {May Arts Tag}

I am always so honored to support Bethney and her family for ASD awareness! Welcome to my stop on the Autism Awareness hop for May Arts & The Ribbon Resource.

The Hop Particpants:

Today I have a tag to share with you. I went with some really iconic graphics and colors that are associated with Autism Awareness♥ The tag base is a piece of 7 Dots Studio paper I designed from the Yuletide collection released last year. It's been layered up with a piece of white cardstock.

After the two pieces of paper were layered I used Gesso & an UmWowStudio Lightbulb n Rays stencil to create the rays. Then I stitched around the edge of the tag with white thread and my sewing machine.

I stamped three Viva Las VegaStamps! rubber stamps (Her Wings Were Made Of, Large Lightbulb & Pair of Butterfly Wings) on white cardstock in Black Soot Archival Ink and trimmed them all out. They've all been adhered down. The puzzle piece comes from the UmWowStudio Puzzle Mash set. It's been covered in Golden Matte Medium, doused with Prima / Finnabair Glitter and covered in Diamond Glaze.

To finish it all off I grabbed a delicious piece of Silky Crushed ribbon and strung it through the open hole of the tag. Then I tied it off with a piece of Navy Silk ribbon.. so pretty paired together!
