Welcome to Thursday's day on the May Arts and Scrapbook Adhesives blog hop!
We've been hopping all week so be sure to see all my fellow Ribbonistas! Today it's me and Ribbonista Emily Lanham! Stop by May Arts to see all who have had days and stay tuned for tomorrow's posts.
Today I'm sharing my December Daily album (Cover and a few pages inside) or my "Jingle Hells" album! A few friends and me are showing what December is REALLY like in all the hub bub of the seasonal planning. We don't have a ton of cooked dinners and staged photographs during such hectic times; in our family lives, businesses and or work lives. And we're OK with that! ♥
I'm altering an old distressed book that had a beautiful red fabric cover on it.
On the cover you can see four ribbons by May Arts; Red Burlap Twine, Black and White Mini Chevron, White Silk and Red and White Stripes. I used double sided tape by Scrapbook Adhesives to adhered anything that wasn't sticky on its own. The Chipboard Tree is from UmWowStudio, Alphas from Pink Paislee, Tag from Fancy Pants, Charcoal glimmer mist from TA, and from my stash is gesso, red thread, mini jingle bells and a dymo label maker.
Pages 4 and 5 from inside. You can see more of the Chevron Ribbon from May Arts, and the top layer photo is popped up using black foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives. Other supplies: Snowflake Confetti Chipboard and December Daily Date Kit from UmWowStudio, Washi Tape from Gauche Alchemy, Charcoal Glimmer mist from Tattered Angels, Distress Marker and Archival Ink from Ranger, Sakura of America Micron Pen, Snowflake Stamp from Viva Las VegaStamps!, Radiant Rain from Splash of Color, Cardstock and button from Fancy Pants, Flower from Prima, and from my stash: cheesecloth, black thread, alphas and a dymo label maker.
I'm totally adoring my album and just can't wait to finish more pages!!
Don't forget to leave comments on all the posts this week for a chance to win some yummy ribbon and adhesive.
