hi hi hi!! Welcome to my stop on the Ribbonista Halloween Stop!!
You're probably use to seeing me on the UmWowStudio blog, but as my baby has grown up I decided it was important I stand on my own PERSONAL feet again and dip my toes into the blog world on an individual level. SO.. welcome :)
The amazingly talented Ribbonistas have joined together under the Beautiful Ribbon Lady to bring you some spooooky (or maybe not so!) Halloween inspiration using the luscious variety of ribbons offered up @ May Arts.
You should also be seeing a blog post by Courtney today!
Leave comments on the blogs AND @ the May Arts blog to be entered to win... what you may ask?? THREE rolls of ribbon (your choice!) from the Halloween Section.
Now ... onto my TAG! Let me introduce you to>>>> Frank N. Stein!!
Frank knew after this night, he'd never take "no risk experiment" for face value again! I love this tag, it's a little different than I'm use to... but it seems like that's how we learn right? Anyways! The Man With Organs Exposed is my experimental Frank N Stein! He's surrounded by a few spooky Halloween night bits like a Moon Circle from VLVS, Bat Confetti Chipboard and a Spooky branch from UmWowStudio. The tag base is Bazzil Cardstock with water and Walnut Distress Ink. There's a bit of machine stitching around the edge.
May Arts makes a big bold appearance in the bottom right corner where I wanted to "patch" my torn tag back together. I used the big wide 2.5 inch Burlap with a bit of fabric adhesive to bridge the gap between the torn and distressed paper edges. It's accompanied by a vintage paper measuring tape and a big gem brad.
Thanks so much for stopping by friends!
Congratulations on your own personal page. Love the tag. I make all of my gift tags so I'm always looking for ideas - this one is kind of time-dated but it could be adapted for any holiday. thanks for sharing.
